Privacy

We keep this simple because we collect almost nothing.

What we collect

• There are no accounts, forms or sign-ups on BookieLens, so we hold no personal details you give us.
• We set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising trackers.
• Like any website, our server records the technical details of each request (such as the page asked for and the time). We use these only to keep the site running and secure.

The search box

What you type in the registry search stays in your browser. It is not sent to us.

Links to other sites

We link to official gambling board and helpline sites. They have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Your rights

South Africa protects personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). If you think anyone has misused your personal information, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
