Deposits and withdrawals in rand

The App Store listing names nine ways to put money in: Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, debit or credit card, Instant EFT, Ozow, 1Voucher, OTT Voucher, BLU Voucher and an Easybet Voucher. That is a wide spread, from wallets on your phone to prepaid vouchers bought with cash.

On withdrawals the listing says you get your winnings faster with Instant Withdrawals, and calls payments fast and secure. That is the operator's own description. It gives no minimum or maximum withdrawal, no fee and no time, and a withdrawal can still wait on identity checks. We did not read Easybet's own site or help pages.

Open the cashier before you deposit and look at the limit and fee for the method you plan to use. Ask support in writing whether a deposit must be played through before you can withdraw, and which methods pay out. Neither point is in the listing, and both decide how soon money reaches your account.

Sports, markets and bet rules

The listing says you can bet pre-match or live on thousands of events across soccer, rugby, cricket, tennis, basketball and more, with a large selection of pre-match and live markets on the biggest local and international leagues. It claims competitive odds. We did not test that, and odds differ from market to market.

The listing gives no minimum stake, maximum stake or maximum win, and no list of leagues or markets. Read those on the betslip and in the terms before you place a bet. If a limit matters to you, such as the most a bet can win, ask support and keep the answer in writing.

A multi bet pays only if every leg wins, so adding legs for a bigger boost also lowers your chance of a return. Before you chase a boost, work out what a single bet at the same stake would pay, and check the odds before you confirm.

1UP, MultiWin Boost and sign-up offers

1UP is an early payout on soccer. The listing says you are paid out if your team goes one goal ahead, with no need to wait for the final whistle. It does not say which competitions or markets it covers, whether the bet is settled as a win if your team later loses the lead, or whether it applies to multi bets, so read the 1UP rules before you rely on it.

MultiWin Boost adds a bonus to a multi bet for each leg you add. The listing says the boost can reach 1000 percent and grows with the number of legs, and it gives no conditions, such as the minimum odds per leg. Treat that figure as the most the boost can be, not what you will get.

The listing also advertises sign-up offers, including a deposit match for new customers, and weekly rewards across several products. We have not read their terms, so they are not on our bonuses page. Read the conditions on the operator's own terms page before you accept any offer, and never deposit more than you can afford to lose.

The Easybet app

The iOS app is published on the South African App Store by Backspace Technologies Pty Ltd, not by Easybet Group itself, and carries a 17+ age rating. The listing names Easybet Group (Pty) Ltd as the licensed bookmaker. The app first appeared on 3 November 2023, and version 1.1.38 came out on 5 September 2026.

It needs iOS 15.0 or later and about 18 MB of space. On the App Store, 2,306 people have rated it, for an average of 4.3 out of 5. Those are ratings of the app, not of payout speed or customer service, and the figure moves every day.

Because the publisher is a technology company, check that the app's listing names Easybet Group as the licensed bookmaker, as this one does, before you install. This review covers the iOS listing. We did not confirm an official Android listing for South Africa, so take any Android install link only from the operator's own site.

Customer support

The listing says the support team is available 24/7 through live chat, WhatsApp, phone and email. It gives no phone number or WhatsApp number, so take those from Easybet's own site.

We did not test response times and cannot say how quickly an answer arrives. For a withdrawal or verification query, live chat or email leaves a written record you can keep if you later need to take a complaint to the provincial board.

Registration, FICA and verification

The listing does not describe how registration and identity checks work, and we did not read Easybet's sign-up pages. South African bookmakers must confirm who you are, so expect to give your ID number, cellphone number and proof of address, and do it before your first withdrawal. Our guide to betting in South Africa walks through the steps.

The listing's closing lines say no person under 18 may gamble. You must be 18 or older to register.

Safer gambling tools

The listing says Easybet supports responsible gambling, repeats that winners know when to stop, and points to the national responsible gambling counselling line. It does not describe any in-account tool, such as a deposit limit, a time out or self-exclusion.

Look for those settings in your account before you bet, and ask support in writing if you cannot find them. Set a deposit limit first, not after a losing run. Our responsible gambling page explains the national programme and how to exclude yourself from betting.

Licences and who holds them

The App Store listing says Easybet Group (Pty) Ltd, registration 2022/541017/07, is licensed and regulated by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board under bookmaker licence 10191733-004, issued on 1 December 2025. The National Gambling Board's Verified Operators list shows the same company and number, at an address in Fresnaye, and the provincial board's licence-holder list names the company.

The listing also names Easybet Group EC (Pty) Ltd, registration 2024/745057/07, as licensed by the Eastern Cape Gambling Board under licence ECBM 029, issued on 1 April 2025. The national list shows that company and number, at an address in Berea, East London. Our registry holds it as a separate row.

The Western Cape licence on the listing was issued in December 2025, so the current licence is less than a year old. That is a fact about the licence, not about the company's history, and we did not find an earlier operating history for the brand in the sources we read. Confirm the licence yourself on the Verified Operators list before you deposit.
